I am attaching a guide for all combinations which you may find useful: DIY brushed polished center links (PCL), GMT 116710LN. I assume when I have it serviced again it will come back polished. I used the Bergeon Fine polishing block just after a factory service in 2016 and like it this way. Took my time, brushed in single direction.
