Why is the leather part so important to you? It will wear out sooner or later anyway. There are tons of aftermarket genuine crocodile straps that are nicer than this one. More important to me would be the genuine buckle and you said you already have one. Last week I purchased a strap from WatchGecko for shipped and it looks identical to a 0 one on the W&W shop or 0 on the Hodinkee online store (both natural leather, not shell cordovan). The strap I got has "Horween Leather" stamped on. Honestly a leather strap on a dive watch seems a bit incongruous. Personally it's a no for me, but if you like the aesthetic there's probably plenty of folks willing take that "rattly hollow bracelet" off your hands.
